I'm sorry to announce that I've decided to shut down my URL shortener.
I started this URL shortener as a fun project, but in the last few months I saw a daily growing mass of spam, phishing or malware links shortened with it. As long as I keep this URL shortener open for everyone I feel the responsibility to check and delete these links. Unfortunately this is very time consuming and it starts boring me.
So I know it's sad and I feel sorry for the people who used my URL shortener on a regular basis, but I'm not a company like goo.gl and I don't have the time and the necessary resources to fight against this growing amount of links.
I will keep the database with shortened URLs online until March 2012 so please transfer your links to another URL shortener within the next month.
